“The resultant work undertaken at Glossop ranks as one of the finest examples of station regeneration. It reflects well on the dedication of all involved and has encouraged increased passenger traffic.”

Our work has frequently taken place within conservation areas and in the context of Listed Buildings. Housing adjacent to the listed Bootle Town Hall, school extensions linking with listed properties, and several complex planning applications within Mossley Hill conservation area are all examples.

Railway work often involves working in this context. At Manchester Oxford Road we designed bespoke shelters which echoed the original timber architecture. At Glossop a sensitive refurbishment was carried out, which was commended at the National Railway Heritage Awards.
